Motivation, personality and performance are important concepts when looking at a person's behavior. Drucker states, “The people are the business (Edersheim 216).” Many passers-by see people as simple pieces of a puzzle, all they do for the company is create products, pick up the phone and record numbers, which is completely wrong. The company depends on the people who are part of it. The CEO at the top is the motivator and defines the personality that runs through his managers and employees. In addition to controlling material elements, the manager must understand employee behaviors. They must have healthy relationships, positive attitudes and finally, managers must give feedback on their performance. After reading The Definitive Drucker I will focus more attention on my behavior while working and on that of others, because it is an easy concept to grasp in order to be successful
