STATEMENT OF PURPOSE It is after a good deal of self-evaluation that I have decided to pursue my self-degree studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering leading to a doctorate. This is a decision naturally made after carefully considering my final background, my area of ​​interest and my highest professional ambition, which is to pursue a research career, both as a teaching faculty member and in a research department and industry development. I have come to terms with the fact that there is a huge percentage of topics to absorb, so I want to take up a research oriented course in my career. These, combined with the educated background of my father, a Superintendent Engineer of APGENCO, made my choice of higher studies even more obvious. Ever since I was in school I saw electronic gadgets like mobile phones, washing machine and TV, that's what triggered my passion for electronics. The powers they produced have always amazed me. As a result, I decided to pursue a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering as it opened up many interesting possibilities and challenges for me because science and technology are the roots of many interesting scientific and technical activities. During my engineering course I was introduced to the concepts of microprocessors and microcontrollers and I immediately appreciated these topics. My undergraduate education took place at GITAM UNIVERSITY, Visakhapatnam, one of the most reputed institutions of the state through entrance examination and merit. I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering as my major because it offered me countless choices of specialization. I have learned subjects like Circuit Theory, Power Electronics, Distribution Systems, Po... middle of the paper... If education simply means knowing books or passing periodic exams, then I'm afraid I'm hooked. Education should be a means for the development of one's innate faculties, enabling him to use his mind, eyes, ears and hands, as they should be used. This is the kind of education I would like and know your university will provide. There is no greater pleasure than the one you get from teaching. I would be a worthy teacher due to my in-depth knowledge of various subjects and relentless deliberation and conversation skills.
