On a quiet New York evening 230 lives were lost. Innocent lives were aboard Trans World Airlines Flight 800 bound for Paris, France from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, United States of America. According to Cable News Network, the Trans World airline "exploded" in the Atlantic Ocean shortly after takeoff on the East Coast of the United States around 8 p.m. (CNN 1) There are many mysteries as to why this could have happened with three different points of view. The government believes the plane simply malfunctioned that night, but some think otherwise. A percentage of Americans believe that missiles shot down Trans World Airlines Flight 800 that night by the U.S. government for unknown reasons. Every single passenger died aboard the airline that crashed horribly into the Atlantic Ocean that night in 1996. No one knows alive to ask what had happened or if something different had happened that night that could have solved many mysteries about the investigation . Numerous eyewitnesses say they saw missiles or "streaks of light" arriving at different points in the air to destroy the plane, according to a documentary made by real crash investigators called "TWA Flight 800." This leads eyewitnesses to believe that this could be a disaster caused mysteriously by the government according to the order of the evidence and the action of the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
