To discover the reasons for the appeal of social media and the effects they have on people and their families, research was conducted. For this research I intend to use a descriptive research method. The survey method, as a descriptive method, is suitable for finding out people's perception of the benefits and risks of Social Media. Participants will answer questions administered via questionnaire. A Likert scale is used to measure their responses, which is very easy to interpret. The questions will be formulated very carefully in order to collect reliable and valid answers.
