Did he? "You never know someone until you see them behind closed doors." Orenthal OJ Simpson lived a difficult life growing up but instead of taking over her life, she decided to make a change by becoming a football hall of famer, actress/TV star and later turning into a serial killer. Was the murder committed out of love or by snitching? Or did he? OJ Simpson was born on July 9, 1947 in San Francisco, California. He is the son of Eunice Simpson and Jimmy Lee Simpson. He is also the brother of three other brothers. OJ grew up in the Potrero Hill Housing projects for low-income families. When OJ was just a child, his father left his mother to raise four children alone, forcing her to work longer hours to provide for her children. As a child, Simpson had to wear braces to straighten his legs, which left him with bow legs and pigeon feet, and children picked on him because of his size and head shape (Discovering Biography , 2003). As OJ grew up he began to find an interest in sports. He played for his first Little League baseball team (Discovering Biography, 2003). His mother was his number one supporter. He would interrupt vacations just to watch his son do the things he enjoys. He thanked her during his acceptance speech for his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, "He noticed how sad I was and... he drove me 700 miles, in the middle of this vacation. He took me back 700 miles home." San Francisco, so I wouldn't miss my first Little League game" (Biographies UXL). At age 14, Simpson and football teammate/friend Al AC Cowlings joined the Persian Warriors. (Biographies UXL) . Growing up without a father around to show him the real duties of becoming a good young man, he joined ... middle of paper ......de he was the only capable suspect in the murders. No one else was present during the murder except him and the two victims. So was he found guilty out of sympathy or lack of hard evidence? Was the book a way to tell the world that he had done it? Publishing it after being found not guilty was not only supposed to open eyes to the world but it should also have given the impression that for a minimum of time a culprit could be freed? So OJ was really the murderer that she claimed not to be. Works Cited "Orenthal James Simpson Discovering the Biography". Detroit: Gale, 2003. Student Resources in Context. Network.
