An example that demonstrates that power can have positive benefits is that “individual creativity is in itself possible only in the context of the entire linguistic, cultural, scientific and technological heritage of the 'humanity” (Shaviro 149). This would mean that power within communism can have a positive effect on society through an individual's creativity. To exemplify, an individual who used communism as positive creativity is Karl Marx, the father of communism. Marx used communism in positive creativity by “building his vision of communism from the human and technological possibilities already visible in his time, given the priorities that will be adopted by a new socialist society” (Ollman).
