Topic > Impacts of the Human Ecological Footprint - 761

There is no hesitation when it comes to whether humans have an impact on the global environment. However, the question is whether man's ecological footprint has a negative or positive impact. In a clear perspective, humans share on both sides and their ecological footprint is tracked to determine whether it will benefit or harm the environment around them. Topics such as overpopulation, pollution, biomagnification and deforestation all have human impacts and can harm the environment, but some include benefits in helping the world around us with solutions to their problems. Well known, this problem can be the root cause of many problems in our environment and definitely exists due to human overpopulation. “The problem is overpopulation” and it causes other externalities such as pollution, deforestation and a handful more biodiversity losses. Furthermore, overpopulation causes economic and political factors such as increasing per capita consumption and reducing resources that can be provided per person. This contributes to strain on ecological systems and economic and population growth. With overpopulation, many resources become limited and a huge amount of ecosystems are destroyed. Overpopulation is linked to man's impact on pollution. Obviously with more human lives, there is more need for jobs such as factories that emit fumes, cars and use to burn fossil fuels. To a greater extent, this leads to an environmental factor as it accumulates chemicals in the food chain such as mercury, arsenic and copper. It can also lead to political problems, when trying to interact with other countries and stop the global pollution problem and eventually end...... middle of paper......like recycling and reducing waste waste has significantly helped our environment and will continue to do so if future generations practice these same habits. Regarding deforestation, many organizations have tried to plant more trees and add more oxygen to the atmosphere and nutrients to the soil. Since although humans create many negative impacts in our global environment, there are many positive solutions to correct these problems. Overall, humans impact the global environment in multiple ways, both positive and negative. In addition to creating problems such as overpopulation, pollution, biomagnification, and deforestation, they also intrude on many other environmental, social, political, and economic factors. The problems caused by society itself are leading to solutions to solve these environmental problems and could also benefit the world as a whole.
