Nowadays there are still many wars, hunger plagues the world, there are still many people living without enough food and water, there are a huge number of people living in wars. According to Shah's article, as of 2013, more than 660 million people were still living on less than $2 a day. In Michael Jackson's music video “Heal the World” he told us a story about this phenomenon. This is a song about children and war. This song was on the album Dangerous and was released in 1991. Michael Jackson wrote this song for his charity organization which had the same name as this song, it is called "Heal the World Foundation". The charity has worked hard to protect children's rights. This organization has helped millions of children. Therefore, in this music video, it shows us people who live and suffer wars, especially children. This video above all wants to show people how hard those children live. Throughout the video, the main characters are children and soldiers, both victims of wars. This video starts with very sweet and a little sad music, at the beginning of this video we can see many children lying on the bed, these children are injured and some of them are bandaged with gauze, so we know that there is a hospital . However the hospital is a bit shabby, there are candles on the bedside table instead of electric light, so it must be a very poor place. From this scene we know that these children live in a very difficult condition. With the music, comes a child's voice, he said, "Think about um... the generations and say we want to make this a better place for our children and our children's children, so that they, they, they, know it's a better world for them.
