When calamity struck on November 22, 1963, the country began searching for the invisible hand in the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The United States was in complete shock when news reached them that Kennedy had been killed in Dealey Plaza. 70% of Americans believe Kennedy was assassinated as part of some type of conspiracy. Few know the facts based on what they believe, but most just believe, but most believe only as an escape to the reality that a small man like Lee Harvey Oswald can kill a big man like John F. Kennedy. Even if people think that Lee Harvey was accompanied in the murder, the fact of the matter is that there is no evidence to prove that Lee Harvey Oswald was part of a conspiracy. Many people don't understand the main factor as to why Lee Harvey Oswald worked alone and that factor is the man Lee Harvey was before the assassination. Oswald was a high school dropout and wanted people to believe he was highly intellectual, even though the only person who believed he was truly gifted was himself (Swanson 61). Lee Harvey Oswald was the textbook definition of narcissism. Lee Harvey's brother Robert Oswald believed that if the United States were a communist country, Lee would believe in democracy (Obenhaus video “JFK: Beyond Conspiracy”). Lee Harvey Oswald was not afraid to share his beliefs about communism (Swanson 54). LEe Harvey was an active member of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee, a large group created to spread propaganda about pro-Cuban beliefs (58). Many people are unaware of Lee's training. The main point of Riley's argument was that the fragment consisted of groove patterns that are not found in the occipital region (2). Researcher Millicent Cranor asked Billy Harper to mark on the map the location where he found the fragment. When handed the map, Harper pointed to a spot to the left of Kennedy's car, completely debunking this conspiracy (3).Guidry 4Conspiracy is a business that many people thrive on on a daily basis for their careers. The number of theories associated with the assassination of John F. Kennedy should show people that the conspirators themselves do not know the truth. If there was a conspiracy proven as fact, there would be no need to keep inventing more. Conspiracy theories about the assassination of John F. Kennedy do not show enough evidence to be considered fact.
