Here in the United States I could see it as giving women equal pay as men, having an equal amount of programs for single dads and single moms, and extending the definition of marriage as per anything else gender and number of individuals. A patriarchy could not exist, there should be the same input from all sexes, genders, etc. This is completely different than the United States today. We are still largely a patriarchy, both in the professional field and at home, men are seen as more trustworthy than women in many respects, thus giving women less pay. Marriage has been something the United States has been fighting over just recently, so extending it outside of monogamous marriage would be outrageous. Even though there is more visibility for single dads, people still assume that a man can't take care of a child alone.
