In today's rapidly developing world, large amounts of energy resources are being used at an alarming rate, which can certainly lead to the extinction of our precious natural resources. Furthermore, most of the energy resources used today are non-renewable natural resources such as petroleum products which account for nearly eighty percent of all energy resources used. Therefore, exploring alternative forms of energy so as to reduce our dependence on non-renewable forms of energy and consequently safeguard the environment has become more important than ever. Today, the energy resources used are mainly petroleum products, and in some developing countries such as Nepal, firewood is a major source of greenhouse gases (GHG), which is the main cause of climate change.
