Topic > The Importance of Constructivist Learning Theory
My new understanding of constructivist learning theory can best be described by the title of a book I read for a book study. The book is called The Obstacle is the Way and is written by Ryan Holiday. The premise of the book is that we have the ability to overcome any obstacle if we allow ourselves to see the possibility of a positive outcome in any potentially negative situation. Constructivist learning theory is not necessarily about overcoming adversity, but I would instead describe constructivism by saying that learning is the path to knowledge. In other words, for me the process of building our knowledge that makes us learn effectively is more important
