Hydroelectric energy or hydroelectricity is the energy obtained from the flow of water from a reservoir which is released in turbines; when those turbines spin, electricity is produced. Hydroelectric power is a renewable energy source whose process is very clean. It is not expensive to produce, except for the cost of infrastructure. Some disadvantages are that the energy obtained from these sources is not used for many individuals. It also has methane and carbon dioxide emissions, so it's not as clean as it seems. Hydroelectric power can only be produced in some places; therefore, only the local population can draw energy from it. Furthermore, we can mention that hydroelectric power production can alter the ecosystem and kill
