A dystopia, the darkest form of government, a utopia gone awry, a lust for power, a fight for fewer rules. Dystopia is in fact the worst possible form of government. It's the struggle to be so perfect that you fail. There are typically two types of dystopias: first a monarchy. A monarchy is a group of people controlled by a king or queen, and they make every last decision. What they want, they get. Typically a monarchy arises as in this Lord of the Flies example. “He felt absorbed beyond mere happiness as he felt himself exerting control over living beings. He spoke to them, he urged them, he ordered them” (Golding 58). This shows that a monarchy begins with someone taking over from the beginning rather than “team play”. A communist government is the opposite of a monarchy in life . style but ironically it is not in their governing body. They govern by having everyone equal, so no one is poor and few people are rich. They are apparently similar in so many ways. In the political spectrum there are two dystopian governments more similar than in difference, communism and monarchy. A monarchy on the far right can go on the political spectrum, dystopian ideas running to the max is a single person in control That's right, a single person also known as king, queen the power to influence ideas and see if they move forward, if the king wants it, the king gets it "It appears that the monarchs of places like Brunei, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Swaziland continue to exert more political influence than any other single source of authority in their nations, whether by constitutional mandate or tradition" (Monarchy). It's probably the... center of the map... the countries aren't. We are fortunate not to have to deal with a war of bombs exploding on our churches, homes, or businesses. We are lucky. Dystopias have captured the best of us from the American to the Egyptian revolutions. We did what we had to do to get our first amendment rights, and now the rest of the world follows us.
