Women's rights have expanded tremendously in the United States over the years. Women's rights are much more flexible. They can be independent. While these new milestones represent a big step forward for women's rights in the United States, there are still things that need to be corrected. While in other countries women's rights have not changed at all. In some countries there are women who are denied the right to go to school. They are also not considered equal to men. I will compare the rights of women within marriage and the justice system in the United States to those of women in other countries in the justice system and marriage in the Middle East. Marriage in the United States" SECTION 1. The property, both real and personal, which every married woman now owns, as her sole and separate property, what comes to her by descent, idea, bequest, gift or grant; the services, performed or given for her sole or separate account; that which a married woman owns in this State at the time of her marriage, and the rents, annuities and proceeds of all such property, shall be and shall remain, notwithstanding her marriage, her sole property and separated, and may be used, collected and invested by her in her own name, and shall not be subject to the interference or control of her husband, nor liable for her debts, except such debts as may have been incurred for the maintenance of herself herself or her children, by her as her agent. The Married Women's Property Act 1882 (45 & 46 Vict. c.75) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which significantly changed English law relating to rights. owned by married women, who in addition to other issues allow.... .. middle of paper......and girls, in a written message that he was smuggled out of prison during a visit with his mother , they wrote:None of the human rights organizations visited us, and the prison administration did not visit us. approve a medical examination for us, following the repeated attacks against us. They only carried out pregnancy tests." The women in these prisons are attacked sexually, physically and mentally. They receive no help from any doctor, they are dehumanized. Yet the justice system that is supposed to protect them from these attacks is doing nothing. They allow these women are attacked and fail to punish the people who are supposed to keep them safe while they serve their sentences. Instead of helping women, the justice system blatantly ignores the life-threatening infections and injuries women have suffered from the attacks.
