Topic > The importance of abortion - 739

Abortion is considered one of the most debated topics of our time. Abortion is the killing of a fetus or fetus before it is born. There is a lot about abortion that most people in America don't know. According to many, abortion is inhumane, murderous and a violation of human rights and should not be allowed anywhere in the world. Abortion is inhumane and cruel. Causes harm to the mother. It also causes a lot of pain to the baby. When the baby is born it appears bleeding from the womb and in some cases burned. "The child is born poisoned and burned" (www.mccl.org). This is cruel to the child and causes a lot of pain throughout the process. Abortion can also be cruel to the mother. "Abortion causes possible harm and death to the mother" (www.mccl.org). Abortion can take away the gift of life, which is also cruel for the mother. It's a truly amazing process to conceive a child and everything that has to happen is an incredible process. It is cruel and inhumane to take the life of a mother. The unnecessary pain your child experiences is unnecessary and should never occur. Abortion has too many complications and consequences for some mothers to handle. It is clear that abortion is murder. Research states that “The fetus is a human life” (www.ethics.missouri.edu). The fetus is also innocent and defenseless. Killing innocence is murder. “Abortions are different from other murders because the child is defenseless” (www.iep.utm.edu). It is against the law to take life, but abortion is legal, so it is legal in and out of the womb. The fetus is alive in the womb and can hear everything. If a child is killed who didn't even have a chance to live out his destiny, then what is... middle of paper... is a coward's way out. Making the choice to have sex automatically means accepting that a child may come into play. When a miscarriage occurs, not only is there pain for the baby, but it also jeopardizes the mother's chances of being able to have children again, which can be one of the cruelest things known to man. The struggle for life is so precious and undervaluing it with abortion is a slap in the face of God. Killing innocence is no better than killing inside or outside the womb. Regardless of whether it is "the mother's choice", she and the boy made the choice to bring that child to life, and taking away what could have been the child to raise and become the doctor to cure the cancer is selfish. God created life and only He has the power to take it back. Abortion means deceiving God's will and desire for that living, breathing child.
