In 1849, the California Gold Rush attracted massive gold-seeking immigrants from around the world. Gold prospectors traveled by ship boarding in the port of San Francisco or on foot to leave their hometown and families out west because they believed they could earn more money and have a better life than in their original place. In its early days California was an unknown place, however after gold miners arrived California quickly grew with a crowded population. Later, the Rocky Mountains became a state called California. Gold miners came to California because they wanted to achieve their goals for a better life, as they experienced with their hard work and created a lot of development potential in this gold place. Explains the evolution of Californian ethics during the Gold Rush Era.During the Gold Rush Era, gold miners brought evolution to California from nothing, then quickly transformed it into a bustling city full of newcomers thanks to their risk-taking and tenacity in achieving their dreams. Gold miners full of risk appetite after embarking on a long journey came from their hometown in California. After gold miners landed in California, they also explored a variety of jobs to make profits. Furthermore, they worked as miners searching for gold all over the mountains. They also tried running other businesses, such as: real estate, new steamboat company. During the time period, it doesn't matter how many times they have suffered failures. They still have a strong feeling of success and achieved their goal before returning home with a large amount of money. After going through a number of failures, they felt no shame (Rohrbough).
