DEcade of Domination: 1960sWhen people think of a time in our world where rebellious, free-spirited, and conscious people played a role, the 1960s come to mind 60. Being a decade known for this is why the 60s are the most loved decade of all. The young people lived without hatred, without worries and without peace. The 60's were the big time for the Hippie movement and that's what the young people did. Hippies, war and music are what happened in this decade. This decade is what showed the world that we can live in peace and love without having to worry about anything. The 1960s were the time of change and the best era that has come. The 60's were the best decade because of the liberal people, how revolutionary they were and the entertainment that came through these 10 years. The 1960s were a very important decade when it came to being liberal. Adolescents' decisions developed on their own when the development of the birth control pill was introduced in the United States in 1960 (http://inventors.about.com). Having this kind of freedom was a good thing for teenagers. This might make them decide to have sex or it might push them away because they don't want to have to use it. Additionally, the 1960s saw many changes in the respect shown for the law. People still had respect for the law, but it was just a different kind of respect. People did what they thought was right. If they thought something was right and law enforcement didn't, they would fight it. The most important event that occurred in the 1960s was the Woodstock Music Festival. This was the largest liberal concert ever. It was established to unite the country and show that we could live together as one, without war, just love and peace (http:...... middle of paper...... had the greatest impact today of any other decade.
