From the medieval period to the modern age, the Wicca religion is still confused with the immoral religion of Satanism. The Wicca religion has existed for many centuries. The Christian religion has damaged Wicca's reputation by spreading fear that Wicca is an evil religion; no better than the worship of Lucifer. From witch burnings in the medieval period to the present, Wicca has been classified as part of Satanism. Common witch tradition and customs around the time of All Hallows' Eve depict witches as evil beings, doing unspeakable things with malicious intent. This is a very common occurrence and is unfair to all who practice the ancient religion. Of course, uneducated people could easily place Wicca in the same category as Satanism; however, these two religions are completely different from each other and Wicca is obviously the better of the two. Because of the Catholic churches' attempts in the Middle Ages to get more pagan worshipers to join, they turned the pagan religion into something evil and evil. left. Satanism and Wicca have been placed in the same generalization throughout history, when Wicca has no relationship to Satanism in any way. Satanism is an inherently evil religion, while Wicca, while misunderstood, is a nature-based religion of living to the best of one's ability and abiding by the ways of Wicca. There is nothing sinister in the ways of Wicca. The rule of respecting the laws of nature made it separate from other religions, especially Satanism. Over the centuries, Wicca has been unfairly lumped into the category of Satanism as it has no ties to evil religion..
