I knew beforehand that marijuana was harmful and I didn't think other cultures used it on a daily basis. I also learned a lot more about the background information of Jamaica and how the marijuana addiction began. Which shocked me more that they knew it was bad but did it anyway. Marijuana could kill brain cells and that's the worst part. The main point is that if someone is dealing with a marijuana addict, they should first tell him that there are many people who care about him and then tell him how serious the situation is. My role to do is to be open about this conversation with my kids so they don't end up having it behind my back, so if they ever want to know how bad it is, I could be the best source available to them
