Racism, a sensitive topic in all times but present in all times. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines racism as the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race. race, especially to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. As a Black male living in a Black community with nothing but Black family, who attended an all-white Catholic college preparatory high school, I have experienced this racism. I'm not the only person who has encountered this problem. My family, my friends, my girlfriend, maybe you have also experienced this pain in your life. It is this simple element that also makes it a local problem. In this article I will discuss the effect racism has had on the community and the world, the history of racism, and talk about ways to move into a post-racial world. it is not only geared towards those of African American ethnicity.
