Freedom plays the most important factor in our choice of government, it is and still is the reason we have such a high rate of immigrants in our country. Freedom allows the individual to make choices for himself. Currently in the United States of America you can send letters or packages via the public postal service or opt for a private option such as UPS. Someone can send their children to public school or private school. As liberals, no one wants the overthrow of the government, we just want the ability to have options. People like the idea of ​​being able to choose between private and government healthcare when they don't like the insurance they currently have. If you are between the ages of 18 and 64, you have no preference or choice regarding your medical care. How is this not seen as a government takeover of medical insurance? Socialism is part of the foundation of this country. Saying that socialism is a bad thing because of the questionable and far-reaching comparisons to Hitler is like saying that all guns are bad because of the Columbine killers. Socialism and communism are extremely different from democratic socialism in the United States
