In the tragedy of Julius Caesar, a play by William Shakespeare, there is a man more noble than all the others. His name is Marcus Brutus. Brutus was the man responsible for the death of Caesar who was his close friend. Although Caesar had been betrayed, no one was more melancholic than Brutus himself. Brutus, however, would not kill his best friend without cause or reason. After analyzing Brutus' participation in the conspiracy, friendship with Caesar and its significance in the plot, the truth can finally be understood.
