ChangeChange is a continuous and never-ending process of organizational life. (Van de Ven 58) The world is constantly changing and the way organizations are managed is changing. Whether technological or cultural change, change is present and inevitable. Organizations must change with the world and society to succeed. They must continue to use innovation to maintain a competitive advantage and satisfy their customers. Organizations use change to learn and grow. However, change is not something that can happen in an organization overnight. It needs to be thought out and planned. My organization embraces change and is constantly looking for the next step in innovation to improve the customer experience. Single Sign OnCapital One is steadily bringing the company into the digital age. The company wants to use new innovative ways to make things easier for customers. Recently the company decided to move towards single sign on. This small change will drastically affect the customer experience on Capital One. Instead of having separate usernames and passwords for each of their Capital One accounts, customers will only have one. A username and password will open all their accounts within the company. If they have a bank account with Capital One and a credit card, they can see both accounts with a single login attempt. This change will minimize the tendency to forget usernames and passwords, as there will be fewer things to remember. Previously customers could only link accounts with the same username and password within that particular business sector. So, if a customer has two credit cards, they will be able to share a username. But if the customer had a ban… half paper… titive advantage with logistics information technology.
