Many details of Shakespeare's personal life have remained a mystery to which we readers must ask ourselves whether his plays and sonnets give a clue. When you go to see a Shakespearean play you find the experience itself, it is an experience of love, loss and tragedy. People came from all over to feel the way Shakespeare wanted the audience to feel. He wanted to express his life and way of thinking through his art, which was dramatic writing. Shakespeare expresses his love through his plays such as Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Hamlet and many more through the use of wit, humor and dramatic flair. In his life he experienced many ups and downs like all of us. Shakespeare married a woman, Anne Hathaway, who was eight years his senior at the ripe old age of eighteen. He had a hasty marriage. A few months after their wedding Susanna was born, meaning that the quick marriage was caused by an unplanned pregnancy due to premarital sex. Just twenty-one months later, they gave birth to a pair of twins; Hamnet and Anne. Around 1590 he moved to England to succeed with his work and would later become part-owner of the Globe Theatre. In 1596 his only son died at the age of eleven. Shakespeare and Anne remained married until 1616, when Shakespeare died. In Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, there are many instances where Shakespeare expressed his way of seeing his thoughts. Antonio who saves Sebastian, whose ship has been wrecked, becomes fond of him and implores "If you will not kill me for my love, let me be your servant" (Act II, scene 1, lines 33-34). Shakespeare leads the audience to experience a sort of homosexual feeling of passion between these characters. This was Shakespeare's way of exploring his mind and sexuality. Through his art, which was dramatic writing, he expressed his thoughts on some events that happened in his life.
