Topic > The pros and cons of heterosexism - 1069

Heterosexism/homophobia Heterosexism is the discrimination or prejudice of heterosexuals against or towards homosexuals, while homophobia is the fear or hatred of sex male or humanity, leading to circumstances in which people become involved with or hostile to homosexuals (people who are sexually attracted often exclusively to people of the same sex) and homosexuality (the condition of being homosexual). Teaching heterosexism/homophobia to students in the classroom cannot be considered a moral contamination at all, because when we teach science or more specifically biology to students, they learn about the ways of reproduction or sexual intercourse. Explaining to students the facts of heterosexism/homophobia does not mean spreading the explicit description or exposition of sexual topics or activities in literature, etc., in a way intended to stimulate erotic feelings, but students must be enlightened about the adverse effects of commit such moral transgressions, as they are already aware of all this because it is very common in our society and television media and Internet also are the most common way of providing such information which misleads teenagers into committing them with its charm exhibited by those sources. In fact, the teaching of heterosexism/homophobia must be included in courses or workshops to save our generation from social and moral problems and health diseases due to homosexuality. I don't mind teaching heterosexism/homophobia in the classroom, as I am absolutely in the right position to bring about a favorable change in my students' attitudes. The only distressing aspect of teaching this topic is that it may occur......middle of the paper......r than adults. Furthermore, students can make use of knowledge about homophobia, if teachers in schools assign projects or tasks related to lesbian or gay topics, and then with the help of their presentations in their circle of friends they can also let them as well as l 'homophobia others know the consequences of being gay or lesbian. In addition, teachers can also organize a writing competition for students to write reports on homosexuals and the disadvantages of practicing unsafe sex through homosexuality, and then the winning report is promulgated to the school speaker so that everyone on campus can see the advantage of it. Therapists and doctors who treat homosexuals may also be invited to campus, and students must be motivated to ask questions or express their views on gay and lesbian issues to clear their minds.
