Since English was not their first language, I noticed that some students had difficulty expressing themselves and conveying their ideas. However, to address this problem, I would see what direction they were going in and then suggest words to help them structure a sentence, or if it was a complicated sentence, they would use a translation app. This loosely relates to the principle of cooperation because when English is not someone's first language and someone makes pronunciation mistakes, I tend to ignore them and carry on the conversation. One of the reasons I don't say they created a mistake is because the speaker might feel embarrassed by their mistake. On the other hand, I might also help them if I notice that they are struggling with their problems
