It is normal for a child to be raised by both of his biological parents. However, some children are raised by only one or none of their biological parents. There are many reasons why a child is not raised by his biological parents. It could be because the child's parent may have died, or the child's parent presumably has just left the child for other people, for urgent reasons. In my opinion, I think a parent should not just leave their child for someone else, whatever the reason, because that would affect the child in many ways, especially when he grows up. The purpose of this essay is to mention the negative effects on adolescents of not knowing their biological parents. Teenagers who don't know their biological parents go through many difficulties and it affects their lives in many ways. For example, their academic achievements and social status. In this essay I mainly talk about teenagers because they go through many changes in their body, from the inside out. They begin to grow facial hair, their voices become deeper, but they also begin to have mixed emotions that make them think more about their biological parents and why they were rejected by them. Some adoptees may build walls around them to keep others from getting too close. For example, on an adopted teen's birthday, the teen might be very quiet and say he doesn't feel anything, when in reality he would be thinking about his birth parents. One reason why a teenager constantly quits and is unsociable is because he would feel terrified of being rejected by other people, as he thinks he was rejected by his biological parents. They would fear that if someone knew how hurt or hurt they are from the inside they would be rejected by...... middle of paper ...... one outside their race because of the fears they would have if they dated someone of their own race would end up dating someone of their own biological relative or even sibling. To summarize, it is best for an adopted teenager to know who his or her biological parents are. As I have said before, teenagers with unknown identities go through many obstacles and their entire life is affected just by not knowing their biological parents. All teenagers should now know every detail about their true identity, to grow up without an empty feeling in their hearts and at least they would know where their origins come from. Works Cited Lisa.
