Based on my research I will have to complete a four-year teaching course. The Bureau of Labor Statistics also reports that every U.S. state requires both elementary and secondary teachers to have a bachelor's degree to teach in public schools, in addition to state licensing. (Concordia University) Based on all the research mentioned, I thought this would be a perfect career choice for me because it involves everything I like to do. However, I wasn't sure what this prospective career path looked like. I then started researching the prospects of this career expecting it to be negative because everything about this career choice was on my side. However, as I was doing research, I learned as our population grows and as more attention is placed on child health, gym teachers will be in more demand. (Concordia University) Overall I think this career is a good prospect for me because I like being around children. I believe I have all the skills necessary to become a physical education teacher thanks to prior experience. I understand that there are negative aspects to becoming a PE teacher/coach as with any job, but I feel I can overcome the negative aspects of the job because I am very patient with the benefits of being physically active for
