With apps like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram, I have the freedom to post whatever I feel at any time of the day. I love having it in the palm of my hands because if I ever have a tough day, I can blog or write it. With social media, I don't always have to have my thoughts go viral. There are also places to write down how you feel and keep it to yourself. I find this way of approaching the situation to be more effective and uplifting because it serves as a place to release any negative or positive emotions without the fear of someone leaking your feelings. There are also ways to post poems about feelings or stories that your audience can view and respond to. This promotes receiving and giving advice from the writer to the reader or vice versa. By reading other people's blogs or pages, I have gained the confidence to publish my own writing and hopefully build a following of readers. Trust plays a huge role in the media. For me it has increased over the years with the help of social media. While browsing the sites, there are numerous pages where you can find relationship advice or just common everyday feelings. I feel like I have a place to connect with others and help them solve their problems. In recent months I have discovered a passion for social media and I hope to develop it
