But because Juno was more loved and nurtured by her family and less neglected by her father, she was able to make better choices for what would happen to her son when he grew up. When Victor created his monster, he let things get out of hand and out of control because he didn't know how to properly treat a child, because he had been somewhat neglected by his parents after his mother's death; because it wasn't their first priority. So we see that there's a big impact on what a child does when they raise their child based on whether they had no parents or have one parent. When Victor Frankenstein came of age he let bad things, evil things happen to the rest of society; and when Juno MacGuff came of age she had a child of her own, but she made sure the child received lots of love and care. That he could have had a good life. While one coming of age journey without a parent involved was ultimately negative and another positive, we see that through the coming of age process both characters were influenced in the choices they made based on the way they are were raised by parents.
