Each morning I inserted the key into a small gold lock in the back entrance of her residence. The residence was absolutely gorgeous. There were flowers with the most exquisite scent. The landscape was ridiculous, it was pure perfection. The grass was also always cut to perfection. There was never a weed between the cracks in the concrete. The palace was extravagant. The entire palace was made of the best materials, it was beautiful. The roof was even gold. Despite the golden exterior of the royal family, full of love for each other and their children, I saw the real Prince and Princess of Wales. I often had time to talk to Princess Diana, although she preferred me to call her Di ( Tompson 1). Although Diana's life was cut too short, every minute she was alive was thrilling, the dresses, the press and the charities. People couldn't get enough of her life and sometimes it was too much for her although you could never tell from the smile she constantly wore. Being Diana's assistant and publicist for almost twenty years was not the easiest task, although it was certainly an enthralling experience. experience.
