I truly believe that if recent technological advances had not occurred, the threat at the top of a breach of national security caused by organized criminal groups would not be as high as it is. Although it seems evident that the government is not doing its best in managing the threats that occur due to organized crime, even with all the precautionary measures that the US government has taken one would think that the threats would be eliminated. It seems that one of the most important measures implemented by the US government is the war on drugs.
