With the numerous problems faced by world hunger today, technology has become the number one reliable resource because it is estimated that by 2050 the population will reach at least 9.7 billion people ( New plant growth technology can alleviate climate change, food shortages 2016). While we will still face world hunger, technology has and will only contribute to reducing the hunger rates we face today (Food shortages 2014). The technology not only helps with agricultural production, but also helps in multiple aspects, including: the rate of harvest, the amount of watering of the plant and soil and, perhaps, even if the crops exhibit symptoms of a disease (The Role Of Farming 2014). The main purpose of data farming is to capture and examine overall and unexpected results. Data farming is a new form of technology used to experiment with different crops and aids research in an effort to develop crops that can withstand the heat and different problems that crops face. Data farming, with so much technology and research embedded within it, has helped a lot in being able to have greater agricultural production and ultimately overcome world hunger (Summary of Data Farming 2016). With all the new technology that continues to grow, GMOs have had a huge impact on producing more crops with the same amount of land. GMOs will only help save lives for those struggling to produce enough
