In high school, a student doesn't have much freedom, high school is a bit like a prison. A student has to be in class by a certain time, and if they are late, they can get into a huge amount of trouble. For example, if a high school student comes to class five minutes late and his or her teacher is not very kind, that student will most likely receive a referral and punishment. A high school student only has about two or three minutes between classes. However, in college the environment is not so strict. There is a good amount of freedom in college. There are breaks between lessons ranging from a few minutes to a few hours. During these breaks, a person is not obliged to stay at school. "Although there is freedom in college, similarly in high school, even though a college student will not receive a warning or punishment, the student's professor seems to get angry if a student is consistently late and will take away a point or two vote of participation and commitment, if he happens to have one of those not-so-nice professors.” (Personal interview) Overall, there are many similarities and differences between high school and college. I have found that in my research there are more differences than similarities. I have indicated three topics but there are many others, such as tests, people, work and so on. To be a college student now, if there was the opportunity
