There are millions of types of animals locked in cages waiting to be used for an experiment. Some of these animals are mice, cats, dogs and rats. They are in so much pain, they are alone and don't have much room to roam, they have to sit there and wait to be poked and prodded. They just have to wait to be represented again to get out of their cages. After they are done being poked and prodded, they will eventually be put down. Animals are tortured only to live in fear and eventually be euthanized. All the stress and boredom they go through leads them to have neurotic behavior. When someone passes by the cages, their blood pressure rises and they tremble in fear. Animal research/testing is a form of animal abuse. There was a video I watched where people treated animals terribly. They ripped animals out of cages and locked them in doors, shoved tubes down their throats or up their noses, even stuffed them into tubes where they couldn't breathe or move. Animal testing must be stopped. There are many ways to stop it, just find the people who care enough to stop it. The animals are suffering. They suffer chemical, pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic tests. Animals used for animal testing are not even counted. There is no exact number of animals used for the experiments. These animals are used to test cosmetics, household cleaners and consumer products. “Hundreds of thousands of animals are poisoned, blinded and killed every year by cruel corporations.” (Animal Testing 101) The mice and rats used are forced to inhale the toxic fumes, the dog...... middle of paper ......ocon.org/."Animals Used in Education | Animals Used for experimentation |.
