Have you ever thought about why we daydream? I myself have had a series of thoughts wondering why I daydream. Daydreams are a vapor of thoughts and images that occupy most of a person's waking hours. Stream of consciousness personally reflects on the world and visualizes the future. Some say that daydreaming can be harmful and hinder us. They think that daydreaming is nothing more than a "cloud of thoughts", in other words a waste of time. But daydreams are more or less realistic and involuntary thoughts about the dreamer's life. Daydreaming is a way to escape reality and perhaps can help you plan for the future. Have you wondered about the past and why it happened the way it did? Well we end up fantasizing about what could have happened. For example, let's say you broke up with your boyfriend because of a message he sent to one of your friends and you discovered that message. Well, a whole stream of thoughts runs through your head, you wonder if your boyfriend is cheating on you, or maybe he is planning a surprise for you, or maybe your friend is not a real good friend and is chasing your man. So then break up with him. You go to the next lesson and end up daydreaming or fantasizing about what could have happened if you had confronted him about the situation. Haha. This was a bad example, but daydreams typically reflect on your past and can help you with the future. Daydreams are different for everyone. It is different based on age and gender. If you are a teenager around 14 years old, this is the step most kids experience. Now, I'm not a guy, but I have a brother. There moods change dramatically and they want to become "older" than they really are. So a 14 year old boy would probably start having sexual fantasies. S...... half of the paper ......x and run away for a while. Helps you think clearly. For people who say daydreaming is bad and you can't concentrate at all, well, where do your best ideas come from? Your brain doesn't keep thinking constantly, sometimes it just needs a break. Just because you daydream doesn't mean you lack focus, it's a way to keep an open mind, think positively, set goals and escape.
