Capital Punishment Should Be Abolished Capital punishment is a brutal and antiquated concept that must be abolished in the name of civil society. Every year in America alone, the land of the free + the righteous, 650 people add to 2 on death row +105 are executed. The death penalty is the harshest form of punishment in the world today. Once the jury has proven the criminal's guilt, we move on to the second part of the trial: the punishment phase. The application of CP is a sadistic and macabre activity, appealing to the darkest aspects of human nature: anger and malice. Capital punishment violates the right to life, a right that everyone has, even if they are mass murderers. No person should have killed 4 a crime, no matter how serious the crime, because 2 wrongs don't make a right. There is no humane way to define summary death. I believe capital punishment should be made illegal not only in America, but throughout the world. The reasons for this are firstly that there is the possibility of executing someone who is innocent. If this happens, it cannot be undone, whereas if the person had been put in prison, they would have been released and received compensation. Secondly, I think that the death penalty is not a punishment because the criminal is not punished here as if he/she was in prison in very bad living conditions and without freedom. Those who have sentenced 2 people to death are normally hanged. This method often does not kill the criminal immediately, but leaves him dangling from a rope around his neck, until he dies by strangulation, slowly and painfully... middle of paper... natives of the penal code 4 million life imprisonment, 4 serious crimes, 2 community service and fines 4 less serious crimes, such as shoplifting. The punishment is 2 b 4 the protection of society. Claims 2 b deterrent to other potential criminals. C p is a failure in these respects. This should prevent the perpetrator from repeating the crime, but this is of little importance because murders are unlikely to present themselves as a series of repeated and continuous acts. You have to express your opposition, but you will pay dearly for it. Barbarians, that's what we have become, barbarians. We kill each other and instead of mourning the tragedy, we want to satisfy our bloodlust by killing the killer. We must learn to deal with these people while we have control over them. Yes, we must punish them, but let's not become them. Otherwise what difference is there between us criminals??
