Although printed books require additional costs such as printing, publishing, branding, and merchandising, many students prefer them because no prior experience in technology is required. One of the main disadvantages of e-books is that they use batteries to operate. Generally, with the paper book option, students do not need access to an electronic reading device. In terms of tangibility, I am able to make marks and take mental notes as an effective method of understanding. Students can also reread the various paragraphs and interpret them from different perspectives, even years later.
