Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist who believed that people have different motivation needs or desires. Individuals intend to establish or realize their own needs. Once one of these needs is satisfied, we proceed to the next objective. This model of motivation is applicable because Maslow's model covers the hierarchy of human needs. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs captures the different levels of human motivation and this will be used to improve employee work performance. Maslow identifies five stages of motivation.
