It will help me to work in nurseries, so when I want to become a nursery teacher I already have experience and I don't have to go through all the problems where they don't accept me because I don't have any experience. I needed to take 4 early childhood education courses in order to get my early childhood aide certificate. I am now working on my 18 credit hours for this I need 4 early childhood education classes and two early childhood education program electives. To obtain the Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education in Teaching degree, I need a total of 64 credit hours to qualify for the degree. Before I graduate I will get all the certificates the program offers so I can start finding career-focused work that I enjoy doing. By obtaining the certificate I qualify to be a preschool or preschool teacher, but to be a professional preschool teacher, I must transfer to a four-year college so I can focus on preschool and kindergarten
