Elizabeth Lewis Hall resonated deeply with me. In the book Integrating Faith and Psychology, a woman named Elizabeth shared her story as a psychologist. She spoke about her introduction to motherhood and its integration as embodiment. Becoming a mother made her notice her embodiment, the objectification of the female body, and her role as both a mother and a psychologist. She explained that she was called not just to be a mother or just a psychologist, but to both. I liked her idea of being able to integrate her faith into her work, which led her to distinguish two separate callings. John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, and that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” I will go and bear fruit for Christ. I will follow the calling Christ has for my life. I will embody my calling with every fiber of my body. I will continue to learn, love, and tell my story because serving is my calling
