It will also contain an analysis of businesses in the area that are of a similar type, customer purchasing behavior related to my proposed business, and the potential location of my business. The Proposed Operation section will address ownership, startup process, staffing needs, special functions and organizational chart. Details of the products that will be sold will also be included, as will my company's pricing policy. My business sells surfboards, skateboards, clothing, wetsuits and other equipment in the midst of surfboard repair, I will need to hire someone experienced in surfboard and skateboard repair. The boards that I will sell in my shop will be of excellent quality, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.c. PROPOSED STRATEGIES Tyler's Surf N' Turf will use US dollars as its only form of currency and my company will offer the use of credit cards, but not personal checks. The markup will be determined by cost, how the product was sold and the competition. The discount will be determined by the possibility of replacing the old product, by competition and promotions. Tyler's Surf N' Turf will honor contest offers and prices, but only if proof (e.g. ads, coupons) is provided. Taxes and tariffs may affect the price of products, as my work is aimed at making a profit. If transportation prices were to increase, the price of my product would risk increasing unless sales remained high.
