Employee Satisfaction Survey AnalysisThe issue of increased employee turnover has been of concern to ABC International. The human capital department has reported a sharp increase in employee turnover over the past year and it was decided that the best approach to resolve the issue would be to first conduct research. A secondary step would be to take exit interviews completed within the last three years. Using these two pieces of information, ABC would be able to analyze and get an overall picture of how current and separated employees feel about various aspects of the company such as the compensation and benefits package, career progression, training and education, etc. The company believes that the top three reasons for employees to voluntarily resign from their positions are dissatisfaction with management (including policy administration), insufficiently competitive compensation and benefits packages, and the perception/feeling of no career advancement. To identify areas where employees feel the company is lacking, an employee satisfaction survey was designed. The employee satisfaction survey is designed to investigate how employees feel about the services offered by the company, from the services offered by the human resources department to the management compensation and benefits package. This cross-sectional research provides the human resources department with a snapshot of how current employees perceive the services the company offers them. The initial survey was structured with thirteen questions; each of which will collect quantitative or numerical data. For example, to evaluate the performance of the human resources department, the survey asks the employee... half of the paper... we need to ask employees about it and we can measure the effectiveness of the survey. The next step after the mock survey would be to distribute these forms to all employees and request their participation. In response to a serious problem of increased employee turnover, ABC decided to conduct a company-wide survey that would measure employee satisfaction with the company's performance, services, and management. If properly designed and conducted, the employee satisfaction survey would provide valuable information to the human capital team that would reveal the areas that need serious attention and improvement from the company in order to combat this alarming number of employee turnover.
