Today the world moves at a fast pace and people experience many pressures and demands in the workplace. A person who suffers from pressure or stress, in other words, also suffers from normal psychological and physiological well-being. Stress is the body's process of responding to a task [1]. Stress typically defines a negative condition or a positive condition that can have an influence on a person's mental and physical well-being [1]. Stress is defined in various forms as pressure coming from the environment, therefore as pressure within the person; also the interaction between the situation and the individual. It is the psychological and physical state that results when the individual's assets are inadequate to meet the demands and pressures of the situation. Stress can undermine the achievement of goals, both for individuals and organizations [3]. The degree of stress experienced depends on the functioning of two protective physiological mechanisms. The first is the alarm reaction, that is, when faced with a threat to our safety, our first response is physiological excitement. The second is adaptation, which allows us to stop responding when we learn that stimuli in the environment no longer pose a threat to our safety. There are various signs of stress that include how you feel, how you think, how you behave, and how your body adapts and reacts. There are many types of stress: good stress such as eustress, bad stress such as distress, acute stress and chronic stress [2]. Stress occurs at work and is termed workplace stress or occupational stress. It is a measure of the pressure an individual feels regarding their job. A variety of external factors can lead to work stress. These include: working hours, work pace, work… half of the paper… d as a “band-aid” approach [8]. Tertiary prevention concerns the treatment, rehabilitation and recovery process of those individuals who have suffered or are suffering from serious illnesses due to stress. The study would identify the various intervention strategies, namely Primary, Secondary and Tertiary, used to manage stress in the IT sector and investigate: do they occur in combination or in isolation leading to which reality? In the study, the intervention strategies mentioned are compared with stress parameters defined later in the report. It will look at a person's stress level and the prevention strategy they need. Furthermore, the case in which the preventions occur separately or in combination is determined.
