While people are perfectly capable of self-taught and doing so without formal education, most people need a little guidance. Chen's experiment also demonstrates that higher education is beneficial to an entrepreneur's risk-taking behavior and also provides opportunities for social networking and valuable resources. I believe that higher education will also push those who are less motivated and ambitious and perhaps even inspire them to start their own business. For those who are already highly motivated, through my research I can say that it would fuel their ambition and allow them to strengthen their weaknesses to become even stronger.
