Topic > The Many Downsides of Pesticides - 1125

Pesticides are types of compounds that kill pests such as insects, fungi, and unwanted plants such as weeds. They are used to kill mosquitoes used in public health and to kill crop-destroying pests in agriculture. Their nature is that these pesticides are quite poisonous to several species and also to humans. They must be disposed of correctly and safely. Pesticides are those poisonous substances that are spread into the environment to intentionally kill living things. They included substances that kill weeds (herbicides), fungi (fungicides), insects (pesticides), rodents (rodenticides), and many others. To manage such specific pest problems, the use of poisonous pesticides has become common around the world. Pesticides are used everywhere, in parks, buildings, schools, forests, homes and streets, as well as in agricultural fields. Pesticides can be used everywhere, from the can of insecticide spray that is commonly used under the sinks in kitchens, to the crops that are grown in acres of farmland, so it is too difficult to find those areas where no pesticides are used. Beyond that, pesticides can be found in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we consume. • Organophosphate pesticides These types of pesticides seriously affect the nervous system by destroying the enzyme that regulates acetylcholine, it is basically a compound that is found throughout the nervous system and in which it operates and functions as a neurotransmitter. Many of the organophosphates are pesticides. They were introduced in the early 19th century, but their effects on insects, similar to those on humans, were essentially introduced in 1932. Some are very poisonous (they were used in the world... middle of paper...) . chromatography.5) Thin layer chromatography (TLC): TLC is a fairly simple and rapid but inexpensive procedure. TLC gives the chemist a quick answer as to how many parts are included in a mixture. TLC is also used to support the identity of a compound in a mixture when the Rf of a known compound (preferably both run on the same TLC plate) is compared to the Rf of a compound6) Low Pressure Liquid Chromatography (LPLC ): Low pressure system is a method used for the purification of recombinant proteins and works with pre-packed columns.7) SpectroscopySpectroscopy is the method used for the absorption, emission or diffusion of electromagnetic radiation both qualitatively and quantitatively. Matter can be solid, liquid, gas, atoms, molecules, atomic or molecular ions.
