Loyalty is directly influenced most significantly by entry and exit points. It was about getting customers in and out of the store as efficiently as possible. In the store I visited they needed customers to go back to the back to place their order and they did this by using the lighting and visual appeal of the store and the store merchandise was back there and had more lighting than the rest of the store store , so when I entered, without even realizing it, I automatically moved towards the back. The interior space of Starbucks has been compressed with furniture and walkable area to make full use of the scarce space with product display to increase the chance rate of purchasing their products as they are located in every corner of the coffee shop. As I was walking back, I first got to see the different seating options in the place so I could decide where to sit, but I was also getting some positive reinforcement before I even placed my order.
